ONE HANDS-ON RESEARCH & READINESS EXPERIENCE.
Every Monday, Dr. Wright features a different national or community grant priority and takes participants through a hands-on process designed to help them better understand the priority, research the need, develop a program concept, build an aligned budget, assess funding readiness, and identify potential grant opportunities.
Weekly priorities may include:

Each Monday workshop is supported by one of our 25 Grant Planning & Readiness Workbooks, featuring research, examples, sample documents, exercises, and resources related to that week's priority.
THIS IS A HANDS-ON GRANT READINESS LAB
Each week, we'll use a fictional organization or a volunteer nonprofit or social entrepreneur from the audience whose mission or program aligns with the week's priority.
That organization becomes our live case study.
Together, we'll research, plan, budget, assess readiness, and explore potential grant opportunities using the Monday workbook, Grant Builder Pro Max, Budget Builder Pro Max, and the GBP–BBP Genius.

STEP 1 — RESEARCH THE WEEKLY PRIORITY
We begin with the week's Grant Planning & Readiness Workbook.
Together, we'll research and better understand the featured priority, including areas such as:

✓ Supporting research and data
✓ Program models and strategies
✓ Needs assessments
✓ Program activities and services
✓ Goals and measurable objectives
✓ Theory of Change and logic models
✓ Partnerships and collaborations

✓ Organizational capacity
✓ Supporting documents
✓ Funding considerations
The objective is to understand the issue before trying to write about it.
STEP 2 — COMPLETE THE PROGRAM-SPECIFIC QUESTIONNAIRE
Next, we'll take our research and use it to populate the Program-Specific Questionnaire in Grant Builder Pro Max.
We'll work through the questionnaire together using our weekly case-study organization.
This helps organize important information about the:
ORGANIZATION + COMMUNITY NEED + TARGET POPULATION + PROGRAM + ACTIVITIES + GOALS + OUTCOMES + PARTNERSHIPS + FUNDING NEED
This questionnaire becomes the foundation for much of the work that follows.
BETTER RESEARCH + BETTER INFORMATION = BETTER AI ASSISTANCE.
STEP 3 — BUILD & ALIGN THE PROGRAM BUDGET
Next, we'll use Budget Builder Pro Max and its Budget Builder and Budget Narrative Builder to work through the financial side of our case-study program.
We'll examine the relationship between:
PROGRAM ACTIVITIES → RESOURCES → COSTS → BUDGET → BUDGET NARRATIVE
The objective is to better align the budget with the program we've researched and planned.
We'll then use that information to strengthen the budget-related information needed for our Program-Specific Questionnaire.
YOUR PROGRAM AND YOUR BUDGET SHOULD TELL THE SAME STORY.

STEP 4 — ARE WE RAGGEDY OR READY™?
LET'S TEST OUR FUNDING READINESS.
Once we've researched the program, completed our questionnaire, and developed our preliminary budget information, we'll run the Raggedy or Ready™ Profile in Grant Builder Pro Max.
Because finding a grant isn't the only question.
We also need to ask:
ARE WE ACTUALLY READY TO PURSUE THE FUNDING?
Together, we'll review the profile and identify strengths, gaps, missing information, documents, or organizational areas that may require additional attention.
The goal is to help participants understand the difference between needing money and being prepared for funding.
STEP 5 — FIND POTENTIAL GRANTS
NOW LET'S PUT OUR RESEARCH TO WORK.
After reviewing our Raggedy or Ready™ Profile, we'll use the Grant Finder in Grant Builder Pro Max.
Grant Finder can use the information we've developed through Monday's Program-Specific Questionnaire to help us explore potential funding opportunities.
Together, we'll review possible matches and ask:
✓ Does the grant align with our program?
✓ Does it address the week's priority?
✓ Does the organization appear eligible?
✓ Does the funder support our target population?
✓ Do our proposed activities fit the opportunity?
✓ Are we ready to pursue this funding?
✓ What additional information or documentation might be required?

We'll use the matching Grant Writing Workbook and the information developed Monday to understand the grant-writing process, select a funding opportunity, and use the Grant Builder Pro Max Genius to assist us in creating and reviewing a working grant draft.
